| About LFOC |
While the main spares service is still provided by Lea-Francis Cars (see below), the Club can help in various ways in the search for difficult parts. Several members have large collections of parts (particularly postwar, but also vintage) from cars that have been broken up, and advertisements of parts for sale and wanted regularly appear in The LeaFlet and on this website (see "For Sale"). If a member has a need for a part, we can very often put him or her in touch with a source. Similarly with services (such as magneto overhaul) and those replacement parts (such as speedo cables or tyres) that are not specific to Lea-Francis so not covered by Lea-Francis Cars, we can usually advise members where to go. Also from time to time members have had small batches of certain parts made, such as adapters for modern oil filters to fit the 14hp engine. For advice on spares and repairs, members please click here.
