A Journey Through Time and Taste
This year the annual rally of the Lea-Francis Owners' Club kicks off on Saturday 8 June at Hook Norton Brewery, a site brimming with history dating back to 1849. Members will have the chance to explore this Victorian gem, complete with a steam engine that once powered the brewery. The tour, which needs to be booked separately, starts at 11 am. Beer fan or not, join us for lunch at the brewery café before we head to our next stop.
In the afternoon, members have the opportunity to view an incredible collection of old tractors and agricultural machinery. Organized by Nigel Wadlow, this visit promises to surprise and entertain, even for those less enthusiastic about old machinery.
The day concludes at the Holt Hotel, where we'll hold a concise AGM to discuss the club's state, followed by our Club dinner. For those staying overnight, special rates at the hotel have been arranged.
Sunday sees us once again at the picturesque Broughton Castle, a perfect setting for our array of activities. Participate in driving tests, vie for the newly introduced Tony Hayes Award, enjoy the jazz band and our tea and cake marquee, which has become a rally highlight.
The day and the event close with the traditional prize-giving ceremony.
Whether you're a long-standing member or a curious newcomer, the LFOC Annual Rally offers something for everyone with an interest in Lea-Francis bicycles, motorcycles or cars.
For those Club members participating more details will be published in the LeaFlet or members registered on the website may download the form below.
